Cholelithiasis and Cholecystitis ncp nursing care plan

  1. Imbalanced fluid and electrolytes: deficient fluid volume, hypokalemia, hypochloremia, and metabolic alkalosis
  2. Acute pain: epigastric area or right upper quadrant of abdomen with radiation to interscapular area or right scapula or shoulder
  3. Nausea
  4. Altered comfort: dyspepsia
  5. Potential complications
    1. abscess or fistula formation
    2. peritonitis
    3. pancreatitis
    4. cholangitis
  6. Deficient knowledge, Ineffective therapeutic regimen management, or Ineffective health maintenance
    Additional Diagnoses

  1. Imbalanced nutrition: less than body requirements
  2. Altered comfort: pruritus
  3. Impaired oral mucous membrane: dryness
  4. Fear/Anxiety
